Positive: My Daughter and I loved our stay at Rock View, the property is in a lovely location, very peaceful and with a very easy walk to Dambulla Cave Temple. Upul and his wife are such great hosts, very helpful taking us to the city for dinner and to see a temple with amazing views. Very clean, lovely balcony area to sit and delicious breakfasts. We highly recommend this homestay to other travellers.

Negative: Nothing really, all good from our end.

Positive: We reserved for one night and stayed for three. We felt like home. The hosts did everything to make us comfortable, help us organize our visits, and brought us to different sights. Very clean. And what delicious, varied and hearty breakfast, we got to taste many sri lankan traditional cuisine. Thank you for having us!

Positive: We liked the hospitality and local tips on where to go. We loved the Sri Lankan breakfast which was different each day. It was fun to watch the monkeys from the balcony. It was a lovely 15 minute walk to the Temple Caves.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and incredibly generous — the perfect start to the day. The family is truly lovely, so kind, helpful, and attentive, which made me feel right at home. The house is set in a peaceful and relaxing environment, yet still close to many beautiful places to visit.
