Negative: The trail is a little rough. It’s better than before but I slipped came back up and hurt my knee.

Summary: Nice quit cabin to relax but the trail is not really for 60+ people.

Positive: The location couldn't be better. We love staying there and have made that a yearly excursion.

Negative: There used to be two sofas, which was a better arrangement especially for watching TV. The old King bed had a pillowtop, which made it really comfortable. The new bed isn't as comfortable.

Positive: Love the location and the upgrades to the kitchen.

Negative: The new furniture (the sofa) wasn't as comfortable as the old furniture. It was tough to sit on for long without having a sore back. Also, we paid for three nights but only stayed one because of the dead wildlife on the beach (i.e.; seal carcass, seagull, etc.) Not knowing how this wildlife died, we didn't feel comfortable having our dogs on the beach.

Summary: Disappointing, but hopeful for a better future stay.

Positive: Location, location, location. Access to relatively private beach and great privacy at the cabin. Had everything we needed on site.

Negative: It was a little expensive when you take into account all the taxes, cleaning fees, booking costs, etc. $700 for 2 nights is a bit much for a relatively rustic cabin.

Summary: Wonderful time on the beach and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Positive: The location was perfect for us as a rowdy family. We weren't worried about keeping up the neighbours too much & yet 5 minutes drive from all facilities in Prigonrieux. Pool was cleaned every other day by unobtrusive pool cleaner who came quietly early & we could use the pool from 10.00 am on those days. Definitely recommend wine tasting with Nicole who was an excellent host & the wine is delicious & excellent value

The location (what a view over the Doedogne!), the house itself (very authentic and comfortable), the pool, the wines the Domaine de Coutancie is producing and last but not least the owners - so lovely and hospitable people!
