Summary: The first night was horrible, one room had many bed bugs. We didn’t use one of the rooms as we didn’t want to deal with the bugs. For the Second room the girls took the bed boards off as they found spiders. I did request to get moved to another room. Reception was understandable and got us moved the same night. We did get moved to another bigger cabin. Which was much cleaner. Other than the first night we ran out of water. The last two nights we had issues sleeping due to a sound of a pipe. Which kept going off and on every 5 minutes or less. The kitchen staff was incredible.

Summary: There were no pictures of the interior of the cabins. No bedroom, no closet, no drawers, very small bathroom, could not sit on the toilet straight, very small shower, no wifi, tiny tiny bathroom sink under the tv. Hot water and comfortable bed.

Summary: It was good. My only complaint would be that they didn't supply anything. You have to bring your own towels, soap, dishes, cooking utensils etc. Maybe this was mentioned, but if so I missed it. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and it had a patio with a table to sit, drink coffee and relax. Lots of sports facilities for kids and teenagers, tennis & volleyball, huge swimming pool. The food in the restaurant was typical mexican and very good.

Summary: Roca Azul is absolutely beautiful! We wish that we could have stayed longer and we certainly plan to return as soon as we can. The swimming pool is the best and it is so very large and clean. We enjoyed every moment relaxing and having fun! Everyone there was very helpful, the grounds were lovely and everything was well marked so it was easy to find what we needed and where to go. Even though we only speak English, the staff was friendly and accommodating and they had no problems understanding us. We highly recommend Roca Azul for a great place to stay and visit! Plan to spend some time there enjoying all they have to offer and the fantastic lake too! We will definitely be back soon!
