Positive: The hosts were absolutely wonderful and incredibly attentive to our needs. The penthouse is exactly as described—modern, stylish, and exceptionally comfortable. The view from the windows is stunning, and the apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need; the attention to detail in the amenities is perfect. It was easily the most comfortable accommodation we had during our entire trip. On top of that, the value for money is outstanding!
Negative: The location is a bit out of the way, though the upside is that it is very quiet and peaceful at night. You definitely need a taxi (Uber is not available) to get into the main parts of the city. We tried walking for the first day or two, but it is quite exhausting. The hosts even drove us once (for free!) because the taxi took longer than expected and we needed to catch a bus!!
Summary: A first-class penthouse with outstanding value for money and excellent hosts!

Positive: A really well laid out unit with modern appliances, decor and all possible amenities. The hosts are wonderful and really make you feel welcome and at home. Views of the San Gil town from the penthouse is amazing. It is a perfect place to come back to and relax after enjoying the adventure trips during the day. The hosts were always a whatsapp away and responded in a few minutes whether it be for a Taxi to town or any other requests we had. The two master bedroom with attached bath make it ideal for upto two couples or for a family of 4 (as in our case). Absolutely loved our stay here!. Just a helpful note to to others - As advertised it is a penthouse, so there are stairs and you will need a Taxi ( around US $2) to go into Town. But this never caused any issues for us. All tours we did (over 5 days) picked us up from the Penthouse.
Summary: A top notch place to rest and relax after a exhilarating daytime adventure in San Gil.
