Positive: The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent location.

Negative: If you don't need electricity then it okay, as power in these areas can be a problem.

Summary: We had a great time at Robinson's hut. There is lots to do on the beach, I will definitely be back.

Positive: Mr. Bongay is a lovely calm host. The location is wonderful between 2 amazing beaches, perfect for sunset. It's a wooden house with basic facilities, electricity and water are mostly available, comfortable bed with mosquito net. Unique opportunity to experience village life first hand.

Positive: The guesthouse is right on the beach with beautiful view to the ocean in all directions. The owner and the manager are super friendly. Bureh beach is far more the best in Sierra Leone. Untouched, long and clean.

Negative: The water and power supply was hectic. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not.

Negative: The beach is so beautiful but like most beaches in Sierra Leone they need cleaning and to avoid dumbing waste/plastics in the Ocean :(

Positive: We had a magnifient stay at Mr Robinson’s hut. The location is perfect, secluded and right on the beach. Bureh is a very very chilled out fishing village with a fantastic beach. It’s certainly not ‘touristy’, but is nonetheless well equipped for travellers/tourists (multiple restaurants on the beach, surfing, clothes and trinkets market etc.). Our hosts (Mr Bongay and Donald) were amazing, so friendly - they organised all the activities we requested, including a tour of the local village and a bonfire bbq on the beach with fresh fish. We hope to visit again!

Negative: The power is slightly intermittent. You can easily charge your phone, and there is a fan in the rooms, but don’t expect air con or wifi etc. - it wasn’t a problem for us, with plenty to do outside of the hut!

Positive: View to the beach. Our host liked palinka so much. Rooms with terrace are ok.

Negative: The lady handling the reservations rented the room both via booking.com and rbnb. We had to beg her to have a place to sleep. She claimed our booking was for another date which she could not prove and was not true. The back room is dark and small. No windows.

Summary: Great location with superb views to the beautiful Bureh Beach!
