Positive: The owners were very friendly with lots of helpful information provided via email before arrival. The whole house is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with plenty of space. It's in a great location and has some wonderful views. Would definitely recommend.

Positive: The location was ideal for our visit. Easy access to Charlestown and the Eden Project. The accommodation was top quality, my 83 year old mother had the room with the on suite bathroom and she was very pleased. The main bathroom had both a large bath and a very good shower. We did most of our own cooking and we were very happy with the amount of crockery and cutlery available, plus the excellent fridge/freezer and dish washer. The two living rooms made it easy to entertain two age groups in the evenings (both rooms had TVs). The view to the bay from outside was stunning. We didn't discover the local beach until the last night and that was a shame.

Negative: We placed the refuse we accumulated into the correct bins and containers (as per the owners instructions) and placed them outside the gate (as others in the street had done). Unfortunately only the food and general waste bins were emptied. I don't think this is just a Cornish issue but frustrating all the same.

Summary: We had an excellent stay and we are looking to visit again as there is so much more to see and do.

Positive: Superb location, lots of space, 2 lounges with tv’s, we’ll equipped.

Negative: Not much to dislike but the doorway trips had to be looked out for!

Positive: The location of the property is perfect, very close to the beach and coastal walks yet conveniently close to St Austell for shopping. The house is also really well set up for dogs which meant we were never concerned that ours would stray out onto the road. The owners are very helpful and if we needed the heating tweaked at any time they were more than happy to oblige.

Negative: Probably the only negative comment, if I really had to search for one, would be the heating system. We stayed over the Christmas period and one elderly member of our party found it difficult to keep warm at times. The system is controlled remotely by the owners and we had to call them if we needed it turned up, which was fine until it went down again. Obviously this wouldn't be an issue in the summer

Negative: Automatic lights in hallway were annoying if you needed the bathroom during the night as they were so bright it disturbed other people and there was no way of turning them off. Very restful and quiet
