Summary: Modern, clean hotel in good location within quick walking distance of Galway city center. Car lot is extremely small, requiring us to park offsite. We were there on a warm day and being Ireland, there is no AC, but the room had a fan, which worked well.

Summary: A lovely hotel on the Garavogue River. Very conveniently located close to everything in Sligo.

Summary: I don’t think I could have found a better hotel for one night in Sligo. Riverside is outstanding — great location close to town, comfortable room/bed (mine had a great view overlooking the river/bridge), nice restaurant/pub on site, free parking, and very friendly staff.

Summary: The staff at check where great, hasle free check in, very nice, there was no parking left in there car park, that was not a problem as the staff told me about car parks 2 minutes walk away, €3 parking for the day, the hotel is in a great location, its within walking distance to everything, I'll be staying again.

Summary: Upon arrival, I received a friendly welcome, and check-in was quick and easy. The room is a good size, very clean, and the bed is comfortable. Free parking is available nearby, and it's just a short walk to the city center, where there are many restaurants and bars.

Summary: Stayed 3 nights at the Riverside Hotel in Sligo. June 2025. We really enjoyed our stay. We asked for a room with a view. Got it. We took several day trips, and returned every night to the bar at the Riverside. Great service from some very friendly kids. Great food! Kudos to the chef! Breakfast buffet also was very good. Parking is the only drawback. We parked at the church for only 2 euro overnight, a more than fair price. A mild inconvenience. we recommend this hotel! William & Susan

Summary: Very pleasant stay. Only disappointment was due to misinformation on the part of hotels.com. Room was listed as a king but was actually just a five foot bed which would make it a US queen but an Irish double king. This was misleading as we booked on US site. Also the free overflow car park is no longer available and we had to use a car park which charged by the day.
