Summary: It was a pleasant stay in our small room; the place is getting older and the floors tilt a bit, but a nice jumping off point to visit Crater Lake National Park. The active fire only 7 miles away made it a little concerning for air quality & possible evacuation, but the town seemed to be used to summer fires. I could see there were more rooms toward the back of the property that looked to be in slightly better shape, but of course that would cost more. The nice deck overlooking the Rogue River in the back of the property was very nice & soothing, and a great place to sit and relax & play board games.

Summary: The place was well kept. The room layout was great but there was no AC in the bedrooms. Other than that, the property was wonderful.

Summary: Perfect location to visit Crater Lake National Park. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful property with nice deck overlooking the river.

Summary: From the moment we booked we had excellent responses from the staff when we had questions. The temps were in the 90s but the AC unit kept our rooms (Deluxe 2 BR) cool and comfy. We loved sitting out in the grassy area among the roses and gardens in the evening enjoying the breeze in great seating and tables. We also took advantage of the double deck facing the river where we saw deer, geese, and swallows busily eating and listened to the river cascade by. If I ever return to the area I would absolutely stay again. We wanted a spot midway between the airport in Medford airport and Crater Lake and this fit the bill. We also liked the restaurant choices in easy walking distance. We slept well, enjoyed the quiet, and definitely felt we had a great experience for a very reasonable price.

Summary: For the location, the price was decent. Shady Cove is a small town, and the hotel was nicely centrally located. The staff was very helpful in checking me in. My main complaint with the room, is the small shower. It is probably half size stall. At 6 foot four, I had some difficulty with it. It also could be updated with fixtures and the stall itself.

Summary: This is an older motel. It was in great repair for its age. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Summary: Hot water didn’t work but staff offered a different room, looked remodeled, but heater was not working. We stayed at the same room but used the second room for showers. Staff were nice to try to accommodate.
