Summary: We had a few light bulbs out when we got in and found a live wasps nest on the dock but they were very quick to respond and resolve the issues … the house is beautiful and very spacious!! The driveway is very steep but we were able to use the garage and there was enough room to park at the top of the driveway as well. The kids loved the downstairs “game room” the pool table and the Pac-Man game were a huge hit!! The beds were so comfortable I miss them already!! The only true downside and hopefully suggestions to the owners.. the ladders to get out of the water at the dock are all missing the bottom steps which made it very hard to use and a board when you first step onto the dock needs to be fixed Other then that the property was very nice the yard was huge , right on the water and Walmart is only 15 mins away!!

Summary: We very much enjoyed the house and the location. Great dock that fit 3 boats but could have got 4 if needed. Karah, the manager, was extremely nice and quick to respond to every one of my many questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Birchwood is beautiful not just on the outside but the inside, also. It was perfect for what we needed. 6 adults in TN for high schoolers’ tournament that needed washer and dryer for washing uniforms and a place to relax after a day at the fields. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the beds were comfy. The satellite for TVs needed some work, so we had lots of conversation instead of watching TV. Not the property manager or home owner’s fault..just what happens sometimes. One regret: we didn’t get a chance to play pool!

Summary: Here for a wedding, perfect location and beautiful property. Our evening weather was perfect for a fire in the fire pit each evening. House was as described. Great memories, with good friends, would highly recommend this place.

Summary: This is the first time that we had visited the area but it will not be the last. This property was the perfect place for us to spend a few days. The house is spacious and very clean. It is in a beautiful area and I would consider it family friendly. We will definitely be returning. Karah was an excellent host and communicated to ensure our stay was pleasant.

Summary: Beautiful lake view, large flat yard to the dock, kids loved the game room down stairs, house was family friendly. The only concern we had was the black mildew/mold covering the rock pathway, stairs and deck. We did not use those areas that weekend after one of the guest fell on the rock pathway after just arriving.

Summary: Very nice home and property. Central location. We were able to take our grands to Lookout Mountain, the Ocoee River, Copper Hill, and a Holiday Lights train ride in Chattanooga. Home is quiet, comfortable and scenic. It is ideal for family vacations. It is perfectly suited for parent - grandparent - children gatherings. Very spacious. Driveway is very steep for flat lander's like us. We were able to park on the street with no worries. If you're not familiar with the area review your GPS or map route very well. The main roads are easy to follow. The last few miles are tricky. The drive is worth it as there are a lot of deer roaming the area. We highly recommend especially for familes.

Summary: The property was just as described. House was comfortable. We had lovely sunrises and sunsets over the river. An unexpected treat was the excellent birding. The driveway is steep but being able to park in the garage made it simple.
