Positive: We stopped off on a rainy day after camping and this was a welcome retreat. Carmel was so kind, generous, friendly, interesting and funny! We were offered use of the kitchen too so we made dinner and breakfast and cycled to the lovely friendly local pub. The place far exceeded our expectations!

Positive: Carmel is a great host she could'nt do enough for us when we arrived... It was like home away from home. Good size warm & comfie bedroom, great shower... Lovely peaceful surroundings...

Positive: I had a ln absolutely lovely stay at Riverview. Carmel could not have been a more kind and welcoming host. The property is lovely, clean, and comfortable, and I would highly recommend.

Positive: Our host was so lovely! We felt super welcome right away - more like guests than tourists, if that makes sense. She did us a huge favour (which, for her sake, I'd rather not advertise here) and I wish we had had more time to chat. The tips she gave us regarding things to do in the area were great! We were offered toast and cereals for breakfast (but only had coffee).
Negative: The heat pump outside was a bit noisy (but hey, we had it warm!) and the bed squeaked a little.
