Positive: The room was very comfortable and quiet. This is the advantage of having separate cottages for each group. We look for opportunities to stay there when we see availability and price dips.

Negative: Payment through Booking was not ideal. This was a business booking and we had to go through a credit card authorization process to make it so that employees did not have to pay for the room and wait for reimbursement.

Summary: Good place to stay in Fairbanks during the summer.

Positive: It was a fair place to stay but won’t return

Negative: The staff was not courteous and was more interested in my identification being presented when I walked in than welcoming me and making me feel wanted. They didn’t check my booking from booking .com and the room I reserved months before was not available as they weren’t expecting me. The other party that I had made reservations for on the same booking was reserved however mine was overlooked and I was placed in a cottage instead of the room I had reserved. As it turned out that was a blessing as the other guest I traveled with and stayed in the main building was unable to sleep as the noise in the lobby area was unacceptable.

Summary: A place to stay that was out of the weather.

Positive: Nicely decorated cabin. Very relaxing stay. The breakfast room was clean with nice decor. Breakfast chef was friendly and talkative. Enjoyed him.

Positive: It was very clean and comfortable. I loved the view of the river. As it was a stand-alone unit, it was very quiet. It was unfortunately raining, so sitting outside was not an option.

Negative: The neighborhood nearby looked kind of sketchy, and I was concerned until I pulled into the complex. I realize that you can't do anything about that.
