Enjoy your vacation in this beautiful home situated on the banks of the Chena River! This very private 4 bedroom, 3 bath home sits on 1.5 acres, has a fully equipped kitchen, two living areas, two decks including one off the master bedroom, a heated two car garage, and plenty of room for one large family or several families or friends together. Relax with your coffee on the deck and take pleasure in the views of the river, wildlife, and the aurora. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped including a coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster, and crockpot. Guests have access to an outdoor fire pit, indoor wood stove, and a 2 car heated garage. Our house is located right on the Chena River between Fairbanks and North Pole, AK. It is a 15 minute drive to North Pole and 15 minutes to downtown Fairbanks. The international airport is about 20 minutes

Summary: This house is big and has plenty of room for us. We had two great Aunts and three sisters one brother and our daughter's grandkids and son-in-law. We fished in the river and played plenty of games. We cooked at the house for all our meals. This place is relaxing. We all came home to Texas relaxed.

Summary: Cute clean place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t get to see the northern lights but saw animals and other sights in the area.

Summary: House was perfect for the 7 of us. In town for our nephews wedding. One suggestion- with temperatures getting warmer, it would be nice to have fans for all the bedrooms.

Summary: I loved staying here when we were visiting Fairbanks. The heated garage was what won me over when initially looking for a place to rent. The house is roomy & has everything you could need :)

Summary: The house is large and great for big groups. We appreciated the mudroom for getting into and out of the house with all of our snow gear. Also, the heated garage is amazing. It is an older home with some updates, which we appreciated. The only criticism about cleanliness was the lower kitchen cabinets needed to be wiped down. Quite a bit of grime/spills on them. Also, I did have to chase down property owners by contacting VRBO to get the check-in information.

Summary: This was our family’s first vacation to Alaska. The location of this spacious, comfortable home on the river was Perfect! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and of course the family time. We were able to explore near by and for us the location was ideal. The scenery was exquisite and the river created a mirror of gorgeous reflections. We were able to experience a classic thunder storm . Facilities were more than adequate for our needs, therefore allowing us to spend time at the house as well as explore. Overall fantastic family vacation. Thank you John and Wendy😊
