Positive: Amazing location with beautiful views and tranquil surroundings. Wonderful staff; really attentive and courteous. They were even happy to prepare a very early breakfast for me, before I hit the road. A rustic vibe - and a fan was provided to keep me cool during the night. If you're travelling by motorbike, driving north a ways from the hotel is an amazing experience too - and a change of pace from the highway.

Negative: Slightly tough to actually find the place, as the sign was partially hidden by grass. (But the remote location could also be seen as a plus?) Also, the staff didn't appear to have been informed about my booking, so they seemed somewhat surprised by my arrival? (But they more than made up for that with a quick reaction and delightfully attentive service.)

Summary: A lovely stop, on my way from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Got some much needed rest.

Positive: My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and loved the place. Great food, views and internet, and the owner and employees are both friendly and helpful if you need anything. I was sick, and they provided tea and even medication. It's a great place to relax for a bit on the road to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Positive: The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner even helped me arrange my next stay by making a phone call. They organize great rafting trips, and they have a really good chef that prepared delicious fresh meals. And all of that at an idyllic location near a river. Highly recommended!

Positive: We stayed at Rivers Edge Resort in late September 2024 when Nepal experienced the worst floods in recent history. We were humbled by nature but most of all by the awesome team. When the flood reached scary levels, they took control and helped us to higher ground until it was safe to return. We were without electricity for most of the time following the flood but the team made us feel comfortable, safe and truly at home. Moreover, they cooked the most amazing meals for us, just on a gas stove by candle light! We left full of respect and gratefulness to have spent 4 days with beautiful, caring people. We can’t recommend the team and resort high enough and will be forever grateful.
