Unique Geo Dome on 10 acres. River flows through property at bottom of canyon. Spacious open floor plan. Expansive deck to view beautiful sunrise/sunsets and foothill views. Located in Valley Springs, Calaveras County. 2 bedrooms and sleeping loft with 4 twin beds. Stocked kitchen. Dining area and breakfast bar, living room, laundry room. Three Lakes nearby. Private river fishing. Hiking trails. Sleeps 9. Need more space? Large Studio apartment downstairs complete with king bed, stocked kitchenette, full bath and patio. Studio may be added at discounted rate if booked together. We will begin our Kayak shuttle service soon. Kayak customers will be shuttled to drop off for 4/5 hour float and end at River Dome Property. We will bring you up with gear. We offer boat in only campsites or cabin by river. Day trips will be offered as well. Tesla EV Charger installed in garage.

Summary: The geometric style of the home looks smaller than it appears but is much more spacious than initially thought. The check in process was easy, we felt complete privacy and access to the river below. The hike is moderate, mostly steep towards the bottom (where the river is). Keep the doors and windows closed, bugs can get in (but there is a fly swatter). We saw a couple ants in the kitchen when we left some cheese and honey around. Overall great stay and would stay again.

Summary: Beautiful decor! Gorgeous views! Challenging hike down to the river was worth it. Plenty of beds/sleeping areas and open floor plan worked great!

Summary: We had our very small (4 ppl) marriage ceremony here on the deck. The property was astounding! It had everything we needed in the kitchen and rooms. You don’t need to bring your own towels or sheets! They even had all the soaps you need. We really enjoyed our stay here and hiked down to the river. The hike back up was steep and I only recommend it for those who hike regularly. Bring water and snacks :) we dipped in the cold lake and it was so amazing! Definitely will be coming back.

Summary: Definitely coming back to this lovely location! The house is simply awesome and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was my favorite, equipped with everything that we needed. The only down side was the heat wave, but even that was not very bothersome because staying indoors was just fine. Paula was great! We'll be back!

Summary: We absolutely loved staying here. The views from the porch, the beautiful river at the bottom of the property and the clean and well decorated and furnished dome house made for an amazing stay! Paula was a fantastic host. Always kind and accommodating and quick to respond. Highly recommend staying here!

Summary: The River Dome is a lovely home. Very spacious, quiet location, great for meeting up with friends or a family get away. Outdoor deck was comfortable and great for star gazing. Paula has stocked the home with many essentials and has given great attention to kitchen amenities. Paula is a wonderful host who is attentive and quick to respond to questions we had.

Summary: This house is beautiful. Great landscaping, well stocked kitchen, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Large amount of towels, blankets, extra pillows available as well. Owners very pleasant and responsive to questions.

Summary: My friends and I had a blast. We flew from all over the U.S. to spend time together but needed space that was accommodating and this space was PERFECT! The house was clean, spacious and stocked with whatever you need! One of my friends is a chef and the kitchen had everything she needed with the space needed to do it all! Paula is an amazing host!!! We think we have found our "spot" for decompressing.!!!! Thanks Paula, you are absolutely phenomenal!!!!
