Positive: We had a brilliant stay at the River Cottage. We arrived at night and so didn’t appreciate what a beautiful spot we were in until the morning. The view of the river and stunning garden was a real treat. The cottage was immaculate and well equipped which made our stay extremely comfortable. Dave and Sue were such lovely hosts and even greeted us when we arrived despite it being late in the evening. We would return without hesitation.

Positive: The location was idyllic, peaceful, clean, comfortable and above my expectations. I would like to stay there again. The river frontage was delightful.

Positive: We were greeted by Dave who explained everything and also made us fresh bread and a frizz for my misses birthday. Really nice touch. Place was lovely and quiet with a beautiful view . Place had everything we needed and pub 10 mins walk . Place was just what we needed, and Davd wanted to know that we were ok ,nice too. Thanks

Positive: Our hosts Dave and Sue were absolutely lovely. And the property and well tended garden were easily a 20 out of 10. Would definitely stay again.

Negative: Sofa could do with replacing, bit uncomfortable. And there's not much to do in the immediate area. That said, there's plenty of things to do/see/enjoy just a short drive away.
