Positive: Hmm, tricky one. The room I'd booked was spacious and modern but it looked out onto a brick wall so I asked to be moved. Ended up in a more traditional room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. On the plus side: great location, staff trying very hard, pretty good breakfast with the offer of fresh egg, nice quiet air-con. Some road noise especially early morning but not a deal breaker. Not sure I'd use it again. Would want to check what else was available

Negative: Room was traditional in style and needed updating but, to be fair, it was spacious and clean. Rock hard bed. Nice pool area but bad smell made it less comfortable

Positive: Very friendly and attentive staff. As it is low and rainy season, the breakfast buffet was limited, but the lady at the breakfast room fulfilled every additional request I had for having a satisfying breakfast. The room was quiet with a small balcony and sitting with a view on the swimming pool. The room was equipped with a fridge and a safe box. Internet was fast enough to stream movies. There's no elevator in the hotel.

Positive: The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. The location is great, just a short walk to the center. The pool was very clean and well maintained, really nice to relax after exploring. We also liked that we could have lunch or dinner at the hotel for reasonable prices - we tried it when it was raining and the food was tasty.

Negative: Honestly, we can’t think of anything negative. Everything was great.
