Positive: We loved the loved the location. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The garden was a nice space and the dining room was a good social area. It was nice to be left breakfast items.

Negative: The kitchen was rather grubby, we needed to bleach the washing up bowl, throw away the old sponge scourer and clean out the fridge.

Positive: This is the fourth time I have used Rie‘s house to host a retreat. I love it and so do my groups. The closeness to town, Rie‘s sunny smile and good humor along with her fantastic cooking are just some of the highlights. The cosy rooms and the beautiful garden make it a great place to stay and enjoy the magic of Avalon.

Positive: Location is superb - just a short walk to the high street. House has all facilities you could need - kitchen is large and well equipped; bathrooms are great; everywhere is very clean. Housekeeper popped in to say hi and check we were all ok; Rie sent messages to make sure we were all happy.

Positive: Beautiful spacious and well laid out house in a great location, but what was especially special was the personal touches by Rie - she is super-responsive, kind and patient, and goes all out to ensure that her guests are comfortable and well catered for. We loved the breakfast!

Negative: Nothing, it was all great and we were sad to leave! (We stay in many hotels and apartments on our travels and not many make us feel this way!)
