Positive: The location is beautiful with easy access to the hills. The house is an eclectic mix of 12th centuy, Tudor and Georgian. It was ideal for our party of nine and would have comfortably fitted a few more.

Negative: The price, which may reflect the market for houses sleeping up to 14, was high. We have holidayed in similar sized houses in the past two years, with facilities such as hot tubs, for £1000+ less. We thought we were paying for something really old, isoltaed and special. The advert gave the impression the hall was in the centre of 6 acres of ground, but it is adjoined to the house next door, with several other houses in close proximity.

Summary: Comfortable, accessible, over priced.
