Positive: Ruwan is the best host we had during our holiday in Sri Lanka. His family are really good cooks, everyday you eat something different and delicious. He learned us a lot about Sri Lanka and the people and is always happy to help you plan for the best activities around his area. He has the best tips! The rooms are clean, the bed is nice and you have an amazing view over the ricefields. When you wake up you can enjoy that beautiful view from your bed. Its a very nice and quiet area to walk around and enjoy the nature. I would recommend his stay to everyone! It was perfect. Thank you so much Ruwan and we will miss you! Bohoma sthuthi

Positive: In one word, amazing! After we made the booking the owner immediately reached out to us to give us advice and practical information. He arranged transportation from the airport to his house. When he arrived he was waiting for us. The room is comfortable and the view stunning! He prepared us twice a delicious Sri Lankese diner and the breakfast on the balcony was amazing too. The quiet, the nature, the view and the hospitality, it was all a big 10 out of 10! If we visit Sri Lanka in the future we will definitely stay again at Ridge Boundary View.

Positive: Staying at Ruwan and his family’s homestay south of Dambulla was wonderful. We felt so warmly welcomed from the start, like being invited into their home. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed without being cluttered (also appreciate the thoughtful storage racks and space for our stuff!). Waking up to sunrise over the mountains with birds chirping was magic. We loved being surrounded by nature - morning walks spotting monkeys, fruit trees and birds right outside - yet it was only a short ride into the city and nearby sites. It's a great base for exploring key attractions. Breakfast and dinner (optional) were excellent every day, made with produce from their own farm, so we really got local cuisine. We booked 3 nights but ended up staying 8, because we simply didn’t want to leave. 11 out of 10 stars for Ruwan and family - we couldn’t recommend their homestay more!

Positive: Ruwan is an amazing host. This place is one of the top experiences we have done in Sri Lanka. We did the tour of the farm and we chat with Ruwan for hours. He explained us so many things about Sri Lanka and his farm. Also dinner was one of the best we had during our 2 weeks.

Positive: The stunning view, the peaceful location and kind host. We had an amazing dinner and the next morning the host took us on a tour through the property and explained about living, plants, harvest at the country site. One of the highlights of our month in Sri Lanka. Our teenagers loved it and wanted to stay longer, so hopefully we will come back some day!

Positive: We loved everything! A little heaven.. If we could put more than 10 out of 10 we would do it. Ruwan is an amazing host, genuine in getting to know people from the world, and very interesting as he is very educated. We loved the breakfasts and dinners on the terrace (special well done to his wife for this amazing cuisine), with a peaceful view on the rice fields… we got the chance to also visit the farm with his lands and the ones from his family. He gave us a lot of advices, and also told us how to take the bus, which is an amazing experience. You can reach the Golden Temple by bus in 15min; Sirigiya is further away but we enjoyed staying far from the touristic area. We would never say enough thank you these 2 full days!

Positive: Staying here was wonderful. Nuwar's hospitality was truly extraordinary. We had many pleasant conversations with him and he was very careful and present everyday but always with great respect for privacy. He gave us lots of useful advice and constant small gestures of hospitality, as well as taking us on a beautiful tour of the surrounding farm area. He also arranged for us to go on a wonderful safari with an excellent guide. The hotel has a perfect location, close to Dambulla and just a few metres from the main road where you can easily catch a bus or tuk tuk. Clean rooms with great views of nature. Thank you Nuwar for making our trip even more magical.

Positive: The stay was great for us to visit rural Sri Lanka while traveling through the country, Ruwan was a great host taking care of all our needs and taking us on an agricultural tour as a local teaching about the village and all the plants, fruits found in Sri Lankan wilderness. As well as we went for a swim in Mahaweli river! Room is very clean and modern, we had also dinner and breakfast at the stay which was great, trying the local organic food we were introduced to earlier. Ruwan was very accomodating for all our needs during our trip

Positive: An absolutely outstanding stay on a peaceful and familiar place. The host and his family is so kindly helpful and provide us with a lot of interesting information about the country, culture and things to do. We loved the discussions with him and took the chance to learn about the Srilankian kitchen during common cooking of the delicious food with him and his family. His home is so lovely and well thought out, outstanding. Thanks to our new friend Ruwan ♥️
