Negative: It’s very old and needs renovation. The couches were dirty it was uncomfortable to relax on them. The blanket that is kept as a spare didn’t smell clean. The dishes were dirty straight from cupboard (glasses and pots in particular)

Summary: You can do way better than that. Your location is prime but the apartment is not.

Positive: The appartments are located close to the city and within walking distance to a variety of different convienence stores or food places. This enabled me to maximize my stay and do everything I needed to do. The staff I spoke to over the phone for my after hours service were polite and friendly and my communication prior to arrival was excellent and prompt. Which is exactly what you're after when trying to sort accomidation. I was happy to have that experience, unlike past encounters where people dont seem to make you feel welcome or invited when staying with them, which has usually been the case for me sadly.

Negative: I feel like the rooms need a lot of TLC. While not unlivable, my room was certainly not a reflection of what was shown in all of the available advertising. Burn marks and staines on the carpets everywhere. There was a large water damaged spot above my bed which didnt inspire confidence. The fridge was apparently propped up by some paper or trash, possibly from a prior customer. The bathroom door was chipped and flaking apart, and also had what looked like toothpaste splatered on the back of it. It could have been paint but I wasnt really in the mood to find out. Someone seemed to have removed the door stopper in the bathroom so that the door doesnt hit the toilet, so theres just a large rusty nail sticking out of the floor which almost went into my foot. The bathroom ceiling looked like it was in a state or disrepair or incomplete repair and is probably whats responsible for water collecting in the ceiling and causing the damage. Speaking of water damage it seems like it wasnt just isloated to my room as there was more in the hallway as well which doesnt appear to have been addressed recently. From what I could gather it seems like most of the rooms are the same in the sense that they are almost like kit homes... with small bits of variation and from what I was able to glean from others staying there. Some had nice rooms, others didnt. I also didnt see any staff during the day or throughtout my stay, which didnt really effect me so much as Im usually pretty comfortable to not be bothered or to bother anyone but in a pinch it could have been problematic. They did have a service number though so I could call that if I needed. But I will say that their reception desk could more confortable for their staff... its just an island in the middle of the entry way... so if there was staff there then I can imagine it might be hard for them to feel safe or comfortable doing their job. I know I wouldnt if I had to work from that position.

Positive: Nice view & good car parking. Handy kitchenette & full fridge freezer.

Negative: The hallway had a strong odour of burnt soy / Chinese cooking. The tv wasn't very smart & wouldn't stay casting from my phone
