Positive: Fabulous. Ideal location for us visiting a friend in the village who only had a small cottage that we couldn’t all stay in. Very comfortable and well equipped.

Negative: Struggled with the front door so mostly left it locked and came round the back which was fine. Also too many complicated remotes for the tv.

Summary: It was really lovely. A super cottage in an excellent location.

Positive: The house is in a beautiful location with the river at the end of the road - so picturesque. The decor is superb and every resource/facility you could want was there. We travelled into Preston both of our full days there for the Radio 2 Party in the Park (which was brilliant!) and were very glad to be coming back to such a wonderful home after the full days, especially on the Sunday when we had to come back early because of the persistent rain and extremely muddy conditions.

Negative: We did struggle to get on to iPlayer (which we tried to view following our early return on the Sunday so we could at least see the acts on screen, if not in person). Fortunately one of our party was able to cast from their iPad to enable us to view so it all worked out in the end.

Summary: Beautiful home in an excellent location
