Positive: It is conveniently located in the Medina. The hot water pressure was great and we had nice showers. It was easy to acess the Medina since the riad is near Taala El Kebira, which is the main road in the Medina that leads to the main entrance at the Blue Gate.

Negative: The place is run by a group of tricksters: when we arrived, they told us that the room we booked a month earlier was no longer available. Since we requested a room that is not on the ground floor and they only have one quadruple room on the ground floor, our reservation is no longer valid. Yet, they agreed to let us stay there for one night and move us to another hotel during our second night. Confusing, right? We've been communicating with them via Booking website and they never told us that. So we pushed back. After that, they made some calls and finally agreed to let us stay in that room for the two consecutive nights we booked. Later that night, one of the guys told me something like: so many Africans canceled their reservations; reason why they were not sure that we were coming. There was no Africa Cup of Nations games being played in Fez, reason why I was rather disturbed by his statement. Anyway, we made it. But honestly, this was one of the most disppointing experiences we've had for sure...

Positive: Saed and Younes , were fantastic made every moment better while staying at the riad. Warm and welcoming and assisted when needed.

Negative: Geyser could be bigger hot water runs out to quickly or is cold for the shower.

Positive: I spent 2 nights in this wonderful Riad in the middle of the Medina of Fes. I arrived late evening and I was immediately welcomed warmly from the guys of the staff. They offered me some tea with moroccan biscuits and snacks. They were all kind and helpful, they gave me useful advices for enjoying my stay in fes and I really appreciate that especially because I was traveling alone and I felt like home. The room was very cosy and clean. Perfect position. Breakfast was delicious with lots of typical Moroccan dishes prepared fresh with care. And also when I had to leave early in the morning for a tour the guys prepared for me a take away box. Finally, Khalid was so kind to organize last minute my transfer to the airport and to came with me to meet the driver. It was definitely a pleasure. Shukran guys!

Positive: The hosts and the breakfast. The breakfast was amazing but our highlight was chatting with the hosts for hours. Thank you Khalid, Ayoub & Mohammed for your hospitality and patience! On the last day even after check out they offered us the rooms to take a nap/shower before parting to Rabat.
