Positive: The riad is in a quiet place in the medina and the staff (especially Oualid) is wonderful. It has a myriad of rooms and they let me choose one from the ones available upon arrival. Copious breakfast, comfortable beds

Negative: It would be nice if the terrace was used more, e.g. for breakfast: It is not really usable as there is no sun protection and there are no comfy chairs.

Positive: My bed and pillows were comfortable. The A/C worked great! The location was perfect for sight seeing. Go to the music museum. It is very interesting.

Negative: The whole place had a strange vibe which was creepy. The room my friend stayed in was very not at all nice. We booked the same category room but her's was much smaller and the door would not close properly or lock. She ended up putting chair and table in front of it to secure it. I'm glad I had brought my own soap. The soap that was provided was small and didn't suds properly.

Summary: Consider staying somewhere else.

Positive: Clean, calm, and the reception is perfect. You cannot find anything nicer than him. On our trip we stayed in 6 riad in total and this one by far was the best. The balcony was perfect, the breakfast was better than the other riad, and the reception was really really nice and we appreciate his suggestion for food. We will come back again:)))

Negative: Suite would be a bit small for 4 persons, no door for the shower so water was on the floor, bathroom a bit small, could have been a bit cleaner but was ok!

Negative: Most of the sites that tourists are interested in visiting in Meknes continue to be closed/inaccessible.
