Positive: A good place run by very nice and helpful people! It is very central within the old city of Fes, very close to everything. It is a Dar, which provides a very authentic experience, and has everything you need during your stay in Fes (though it is obviously quite different from a standard hotel).

Positive: Tucked out of the way, like most of the Riad’s are, the interior courtyards are always a beautiful surprise. Comfortable and clean and not too far away from some of the main attractions.

Negative: There are over 9000 alleyways and streets in Fez, some narrow and dark, so our first impression coming in at night was like being in a maze where you are immediately lost. But that’s part of the charm and by the second day we knew our way around. Our Guide told us that Google maps and Waze did not work in the labyrinth of the city. He was right. Pay attention when directions are given and you’ll be fine.

Positive: The location was great - fairly central yet fairly quiet. Lovely rooftop area.

Negative: The breakfast (like many destinations in Morocco) is very limited and heavy on sweetened carbs. There is no sign on the door to indicate that you have arrived at the Riad - would kindly suggest that the owners please add one to make it easier for guests arriving for the first time. My initial room was a bit small (very hard to get around the end of the bed to the bathroom), but I was able to change it for my subsequent nights after asking a couple of times.

Positive: The staff at the riad were so amazing and made us feel so welcomed, they went above and beyond. The property itself is gorgeous too! Centred right in the Medina you have everything within a 5 minute walk

Negative: The parking arrangements weren't clear in the booking information, however we pointed this minor issue out to our host and he immediately sought to rectify the problem.

Positive: Nice Riad with friendly staff. Close to parking although finding your way in the Medina is not always that easy, Once you know your way, it is fine.

Negative: Breakfast options were all sweet, some savoury would be nice to have. But you got plenty, so no empty stomach to start your day when exploring the city highlights.
