Positive: This was our best experience in Morocco. The rooms and hotel are beautiful and clean (my boyfriend is a bit of a maniac when it comes to cleaning). Omar takes great care of us. He showed us where to hike, gave us picnics, prepared tea for when we came back. And the food was delicious and healthy, so much that we stayed for dinner the 3 days. It was also very quiet at night. We truly recommend this place.

Positive: I wondered how an establishment could get solid 10 reviews, but on arrival I discovered why - everything is perfect. We arrived on a cold December day and it was so great to find such a cosy warm room, with charming balcony and view of mountains, and really toasty bathroom with heated floor. Omar, our host, brought mint tea and snacks to our room, and when asked whether he’d be able to fill my hot water bottle in the night, pointed to the kettle. I knew our 3 day stay would be a good one and that we could, even if we got cold walking in the beautiful mountains, return to a warm and welcoming base. That wasn’t all, we discovered the evening meals were delicious, varied and plentiful as were the breakfasts, and to boot Omar chucked in a simple but adequate picnic for our lunch, without any even being asked - it was just what we wanted. What I like most about Omar, is that he saw to our every need without pushing anything on us. If I or my daughter visit Imlil again, we would definitely stay at Berber Towers.

Negative: Can't think of anything that could have been better - perhaps a backgammon set.

Positive: The property is absolutely stunning with unusually find decor such as brand new wooden doors. The food was authentically Moroccan and absolutely delicious. The location is amazing as it allows for full exploration of the high Atlas mountains and I really enjoyed it. I think the best part of this experience was Omar himself. He is gracious, thoughtful, and truly a wonderful host even brought coffee up to my room mid afternoon and made sure all my needs were met, including helping me find a cab on a snowy day. I am really grateful to him for his kindness and thoughtfulness.

Positive: OK - so there isn't really enough room here to say what we liked about our stay at Berber Towers, but here goes ! First of all it's easy to find - into Imlil, left over the bridge & past the school, and look out for a clear wooden sign on the left, plus you can easily see the property, which is easy to get to down a short path, plus we were able to park very close by, on the road. The Riad is very close to the village, without the noise or traffic. Then there's the host, who is a native of the area, and couldn't be more welcoming or helpful or accommodating. I'm embarrassed that I didn't get his name - my loss ! (possibly Omar ?) We stayed for dinner, which was great, as was breakfast, and did a couple of walks from Imlil which were explained by our host, and were excellent - even after it snowed ! The room was spacious and spotless and lovely, with a sitting area and kettle so we could make our own tea/coffee, which we only did once because we kept being offered mint tea ! If I return to Imlil I'll try to stay here again - not the cheapest place in Imlil, but very pleasant, a great host, and very good value for money.

Negative: It rained (for the 1st time in 4 months) and then snowed overnight, so the some parts of the room were a bit cool as the under-floor heating needed to be turned up a little, which the host took care of.

Summary: Great host, lovely house, excellent location, quality dinner and breakfast !

Positive: This new establishment is so good. Very cozy rooms, beautiful authentic atmosphere. We had a balcony which looked on the mountains and apple trees in a garden. Views like heaven. The host: Mr. Omar I hope you read this, never change. This man has humour, empathy and unlimited amount of kindness. He is proactive, e.g. we booked 2 nights on 2 separate bookings, different rooms. By the time we got there he already figured it out based on my phone number and made it so we didn't have to change rooms. He immediately told us what to see and how we can get the best hiking experience. He showed us on maps as well, gave very detailed information. His English is very good. He took care of us perfectly, always asking if everything is okay and to our liking. The food: My partner is vegan, and although they didn't have any vegan dishes for dinner, with the arrangement of Mr. Omar they made vegetable soup and vegan tagine just for her. Truly very kind, and both dishes were amazingly good. I ate a chicken tajine, and I will eat it again that is for sure. The meat just disappeared from the bones, it was perfectly seasoned, the olives were just wow as well. One of the best dinners we had. Over all, if we ever travel to Morocco, we are 100% sure to stay here again. Thank you again Mr. Omar! PS.: My favourite thing in the riad was the Tea Master. I don't know his real name unfortunately, but he sat in the corner of the main hall, and he was the teamaker. Had a little stove with a big jug of water which was almost always hot, and another jug in which he made the fresh tea. His tea was delicious. I hope he will still be there when I get there next time.:)

Positive: The location was brilliant, the riad and rooms were lovely. The food was homemade and exceptionally good. We were given lots of hiking recommendations from the staff.
