Positive: Lovely comfortable cosy home from home with excellent views from the decking of Farr Beach. Great location for exploring the amazing beaches, awesome surfing 🏄 The cottage was awesome for our family of 5, we had a blast. Local eggs and lovely cakes and burgers from the cafe. Thank you.

Positive: Lovely spacious house in its own pretty grounds, well decorated and equipped.A short walk up to the Bistro just behind which serves everything all the time. Nice view of the bay from one of the bedrooms. With a few adjustments (see below) I would rate this house a 10. Good wifi.Two TVs (didn't have time to try them out). Kitchen equipment adequate, huge utility room.Worth noting the access code before you arrive: the signal at the house was too poor to download it on our phone. The phone number provided didn't help as it was after office hours.

Negative: The house sleeps five in three bedrooms, but has only one WC, in the main bathroom. A downstairs shower and loo , or a loo at the least, would be great, and there is ample room to create one. The mattresses are terrible: soggy, cheap, thin, open coil : a house this nice deserves much better. Some hooks and a stool in the nice spacious bathroom would help a lot. Why a sheet of clear plastic on the kitchen table? At least a piece of printed vinyl would be more welcoming. And finally: the hideous and unfriendly lighting worthy of a 1970's youth hostel. One huge fluorescent strip light in the kitchen, one lamp in the sitting room, etc all with old style fluorescents or minimum power cold white LEDs. Could be so much cosier. Again, a lovely house which deserves better, and the details can make a huge difference.
