Positive: We loved this perfect apartment overlooking the small port of Trani, especially waking up each morning to the sight of the fishermen repairing their nets. The setting was magnificent and the old city of Trani was delightful and authentic without being overcrowded by fellow travelers. We arrived late on a Sunday night but were warmly welcomed by Stefano and Giovanna who helped us up the stairs with our luggage and acquainted us with the apartment; Stefano epitomizes Italian hospitality, making himself readily available for any assistance we needed during our stay and offering some great sightseeing suggestions. Don’t miss the cliffside beach walk from the city’s seaside park toward Bisceglie! The apartment itself was so comfortable and handsomely decorated; every amenity was provided. Great mattress, air conditioning, washer/dryer, TVs, comfortable bathroom, and fully stocked kitchen. We savored morning cappuccinos with the windows flung open, watching the harbor wake up.

Negative: No complaints at all; however, the apartment is on the second story of this historic building and requires comfort with climbing stairs. Also, the waterfront is hopping on weekend nights till midnight, but the apartment windows are triple-glazed, effectively soundproofing the apartment. Parking is readily available in Piazza Trieste, a short stroll away.

Summary: Residenza Rebecca, and Trani itself, are hidden-in-plain-sight gems!

Positive: One of the best apartments we have ever stayed. Very nice, stylish, clean, comfortable, with incredible view of the port. Excellent location in the heard of Trani with restaurats just a step out of the door.

Positive: It doesn’t get better than this ! From the view to the designer style finishes….nothing can be improved . Was great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer , all appliances were top quality and felt brand new . The owners made us feel so welcome and left all nice eats in the apartment . Truely a top class stay that few can compete with . Would return without a doubt .

Positive: We would give 10 stars if possible! The apartment is right on the port with beautiful views; we watched the fishing boats coming back in the morning and fisherman selling their catch by the dock. The apartment was very comfortable, great bed, hearing/cooling in each room. Absolutely spotless. A well-equipped small kitchen. We chose not to cook since the restaurants were so good, but we could have. The hosts stocked bottled water, milk, juice, yogurt, pastries, olive oil, more. We lacked nothing. The hosts were amazing, checking on us to make sure we had everything and giving us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and groceries. Trani was vibrant and alive with many restaurants open and Christmas lights and decorations. Our host was so kind as to give us a ride to Barletta himself at the last minute when there was a transportation strike on our departure day. A wonderful week for us in Trani.

Positive: We stayed 3 nights in this very well appointed apartment that is newly renovated, spacious, clean, comfortable bed and fantastic view overlooking the harbor. Steffarno was wonderful to communicate, checking we had everything we needed etc. we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
