Summary: Very clean place. Friendly and smiling staff good the hotel had bicycles so we didn’t have to walk into town. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Maybe the coffee machine could be better. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Summary: The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Staff were really helpful and the place was spotless and we felt that staff worked hard to make it unique and give it that personal touch. Little things like homemade cakes and canapés as part of breakfast were wonderful and really made this place stand out. It’s in a great location too- we walked to the beach and into town and made use of the free bike rental service. I would 100% recommend this place.

Summary: Lovely small, friendly hotel with quiet lounge areas to enjoy. Staff extremely helpful. Close to beach and a nice 25 minute walk into town. First hotel we’ve been to that did not provide coffee tea facilities in the room which was very disappointing. Only tea and water available in the breakfast area during afternoon/evening. No milk provided. Coffee machine sadly unavailable during the afternoon/evening.

Summary: Lovely hotel, in a quiet spot on the outskirts of Rovinj. We walked into town each evening (20-25 mins) and got a taxi back. The beach is a five minute walk away, but you can walk for ages in either direction and find lovely spots to sunbathe. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. The breakfast each morning was brilliant - lots of variety, freshly cooked pastries, fresh fruit - different each day. The staff team is excellent. Always friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and always a friendly smile. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Summary: We had an amazing two-day stay at this beautiful and tranquil hotel. The experience started with a fantastic breakfast that included everything you could possibly want. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated and meticulously clean. Our room was cozy, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the beach, and bikes are available if you want to explore more of the coastline. The city center is also within walking distance, about 30 minutes away. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rovinj!

Summary: We made the right decision to take our first trip to Croatia, the right decision to visit Istria, the right decision to stay in Rovinj & absolutely hit the bullseye with Residence Vaal. This is an absolute gem of a property & Denis, Aleksandra and their team, particularly Laura & Aleksandar, could not have done more to make our trip a thoroughly enjoyable one, & to ensure that we want to hurry back. Residence Vaal is extremely comfortable, well equipped and almost surgically clean. The setting, slightly away from the centre of town is peaceful & it's ideally placed for Cuvi beach. The breakfasts are fresh, varied and generous, and offer a great selection, including marvellous home-baked daily delicacies. The pool area is an oasis of peace, with added hydromassage! All these tangible attributes are practically perfect, but what really made our trip was the extremely friendly, uber helpful and above-and-beyond service. I cannot recommend Residence Vaal highly enough!
