Positive: What a perfect stay! We were greeted by Graca who is the kindest person. She went out of the way to help us and made us feel so at home. Her enthusiasm and love for what she does shows in every detail. Rooms are beautifully appointed with consideration of all possible needs. The outdoor patio space is lovely. And the breakfast…oh, the breakfast! An incredible spread of breads, cheeses, jams, fruit, yogurt, and eggs made to order. While the guest house is absolutely lovely, it is the impecable hospitality and friendly ways of the hostess make this such a special place!

Positive: I had a great stay at Republica Guest House. The hosts were absolutely lovely - so warm and friendly and welcoming. My room was fabulous and it was so nice to have a big ensuite. Cleanliness was to the highest standard. The breakfast was gorgeous also.

Negative: Thankfully my accommodation was lovely, but I sadly did not enjoy Coimbra.

Positive: It's a wonderful place, and the host is a unique person. The atmosphere was exceptional; even the rainy weather didn't bother me. I felt taken care of. The location is excellent, especially for the university and the main street. I highly recommend this guesthouse.
