Air conditioned coach house with half bath can sleep two and comes equipped with cable television. Finished walkout basement with large family room features a bunk bed and sleeper sofa and chaise lounges. Air conditioned rec room features ping pong table, yard games and two futons for additional sleeping. Several air mattresses are on the property for additional sleeping. Reynolds lake is a full sport lake and features upper and lower Reynolds lake with a connecting channel. Bring your own boat and WaveRunner and launch at the public launch or, use our paddle boat, canoe, rowboat or kayaks! Summary: This is our 2nd stay, we love the house and lake. The water is warm and perfect size for us. We were very happy with the amount of bathrooms, the basement toilet is working for those who are sleeping in the downstairs bedrooms. Thanks for another great stay!!

Summary: We stayed for 5 nights in late August having as many as 11 people with us for two of the nights. The weather was perfect. We were out in the kayaks and in the lake. The accommodations were great because of the extra sleeping areas outside the main house. The rear deck was a popular gathering spot, and we took lots of naps in the living area. The house is also well stocked with kitchen items. We were so comfortable here. That all being said, the house shows some wear and tear and there are some issues, e.g. downstairs hot/cold water control on shower. But none of these things detracted us from having a wonderful time. We were only in this part of MI because we attended a wedding. But if we ever come back, we would consider staying here again. PS: Paw Paw is a charming little town. The Gilmour car museum is also a must see even if you're not a big car person.

Summary: I booked this property for a four day weekend trip involving myself and six friends. Parts of the property are very nice. The kitchen/living area and decks are very clean, the beds are comfortable, the area is quiet, and you still good a good amount of privacy for having immediate neighbors. The nice parts of the rental are juxtaposed somewhat against the not as nice parts. There are several outlets which are duct taped to their respective walls or hanging out entirely, there is confusing sharpee on light switches telling you which ones to use and in what order, unfinished painting, and (at least when we went) a dead animal in the shed by the lake. My group are all very relaxed and would be pretty happy with any four walls, a roof, and a bed. So, for us it worked very well and if that is your kind of group then this is a very good spot for you which I would recommend. If you are trying to impress or you/someone in your group will be turned off by some rough edges around this property, maybe choose somewhere else.

Summary: Pros: The house is situated on a beautiful small lake. The water was clean and we enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat, row boat and the water trampoline. The deck is newer and in great shape. The air conditioning worked wonderfully and great wi-fi. Owner responded quickly to questions. Cons: -The carriage house is unusable: Smelled awful, very strong mold smell and it was missing back half of the door knob, so there was no way to open the door from inside once you closed it or lock it. -Not very clean: Your feet turned black quickly, dirty walls, cupboards, glass, tv screen, cobwebs in many corners, moldy shower track, dog fur all over the chair, large amount of dead bugs in kitchen light fixture. -Safety issues: Electrical covers missing, missing floor pieces, wasp nest in shutters next to front door, front door didn’t always unlock, basement shower only had scolding hot water, or ice cold water, there was no mixing of the temps. -Other: We could not get fan/light over the kitchen table to work, no window coverings in main floor bath (hello neighbors!!), missing blind pieces in basement slider, no remote for the living room TV, all outside patio cushions were soaking wet and dirty, weeds and overgrown landscaping, and ANTS…everywhere, inside and out. Most of these issues could be fixed easily and had they been done, it would have made for a much more enjoyable experience. We would not recommend to others.

Summary: The view and deck are beautiful. This place is probably great for kids...but quite uncomfortable for adults. There was a layer of grease/grime on EVERYTHING in the kitchen. We literally washed everything through the dishwasher before we could use it. The downstairs beds were uncomfortable. The new shower downstairs had ONLY Hot water or ONLY cold water...basically unusable. The small cottage with a half bath smelled so musty and was so dirty my 25yo son opted to sleep on the couch on the house instead. The top bunk was so close to the ceiling downstairs we ended up pulling the mattress off and putting it on the fold out couch for my 30yo niece. The overall TLC of the place is very lacking with blinds broken, drapes hanging off, so may smudges, dirty fingerprints, later of grime on everything. Junk piled in bottom of closets, gas grill doesn't really heat up entire grill....BUT, the lake view is wonderful. As long as you're sitting outside, it's a nice place.

Summary: Plenty of kitchen accommodations- and seating. Couldn’t figure out TV. Property could use a cleanup. A lot of the outdoor spaces were mildewed. Hosts were very good at communicating. We had a great times. We were 8 adults and their was plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms (for several more) having kayaks was nice. Fun place for a big group.

Summary: Pros: Large lot, beautiful view, nice deck, nice kitchen and main floor, nice raft and rowboat, good location and nice lake. Cons: Majority of sleeping areas not up to expectations - lower level was musty and saw a mouse, outbuilding (converted shed) was musty/damp, garage sleeping quarters smelled like gasoline/oil. As a result, we found alternate accommodations for our guests to sleep not at the property and cut stay by one night. In addition to the mouse, other cleanliness issues included dirty dishes (lipstick still on glassware), unflushed toilet upon arrival. Recreation equipment disappointing - ping pong table broken, one kayak unusable, boat house was a mess and contents were dirty. As one guest put it, "This place would be okay to someone used to living in a fraternity house." Unfortunately, we are at a stage of life and it did not meet our expectations. First and probably last Vrbo.

Summary: Joe was incredibly responsive and an amazing host! The view can’t be beat and the upper level kitchen and family room provided the perfect gathering area. When the basement bathroom is complete, it will be the perfect spot for multiple families. Joe went out of his way to get everything set up for our last minute stay. We loved using all the water toys - we were out on the water in kayaks, the paddle boat and trampoline each day. Would definitely stay again!
