Positive: The food in the lobby was delicious, and the bed is comfortable.
Negative: The hotel is definitely overpriced. The rooms are old and need renovation. In my room, the toilet was supported with a wooden block,which is very strange for a 5 star hotel. The carpet was dirty and there were no sockets near the bed, which was inconvenient. The staff don’t smile.I understand this may be part of the local mentality,but it still affects the experience.
Summary: An overpriced hotel that needs renovation.

Positive: Central location, excellent choice at the breakfast, spacious room and the lounge area with coffee and team, availability of spa and massage
Negative: Even though the check-in person at the reception was very friendly and positive on the arrival and offered the option for a paid upgrade during the rest of the stay the personnel (at the reception and security guards) never greet the guests when you pass them by. This was a bit awkward. The bedding could have been better, it was ok but not great.
Summary: One of the remaining decent post oil-boom hotels in Atyrau
