Northern Escape Mountain Lodge, located on a remote waterfront 50 acre mountain estate surrounded by natural wilderness, mountain lakes and park lands, is the perfect retreat for your family or group. Massive floor to ceiling windows offer stunning views over lake and mountains from the 20 seat dining room and lounge. Cozy up to the impressive 3 sided wood burning fireplace or enjoy the expansive outdoor decking with its 10+ person hot tub.
Our waterfront access to Treston Lake, the head of the famous Kalum River, offers world class fishing opportunities for Salmon and Steelhead. Enjoy outdoor recreation such as jet boating, Mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding and kayaking. Day trips and excursions by helicopter or road to Prince Rupert for Whale Watching and Bear Watching can also be organized. Local guides and rentals can be arranged upon request.
The Post and Beam construction, with over 8,000 square feet, offers a luxurious, but cozy mountain Chalet feeling. 10 rooms, each with Queen bed and ensuite bathroom, commercial kitchen, bar, lounge, dining room, gear room, and games area with Foosball and Ping-Pong.
Access the lodge overland by road or we can arrange a Helicopter transfer from the Terrace airport, C-YXT, directly to the lodge which has 3 heli pads and onsite fuel service.
The Lodge is rented Fully-Catered including your choice of staffing such as Chefs with custom menu planning, bar tenders, housekeeping and concierge. For larger groups there is a Staff Accommodation annex with 12 single rooms with shared, Jack & Jill style, bathrooms that may be rented upon request.
