A true cabin on beeds lake, the way cabins on lakes used to be. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay and bring your pets! There is parking for four cars or and bring your boat. It is a no wake lake so please remember that.
There is a 2 mile trail that goes around the lake and swimming at the beach.
The space
There is a full kitchen and island with seating. Relax in the sunroom and enjoy the view and watch the deer.
In the summer take the kayaks down to the lake, go boating, fishing or swimming and have a fire at night.
There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and an air mattress. There is a couch in the living room and in the sunroom. Enjoy the view of the lake from your bed in one of the bedrooms. There is also a den with books, games and a daybed for another guest.

Summary: It is a comfy cabin right on the lake. Beautiful scenery, great walking trails around the lake, and so peaceful! We enjoyed the kayaks and just sitting around taking in the peace and quiet. Nice location. The cabin has all the amenities you could want. Large screen tv was very nice watching late night movies. Recommend eating at B&C Kitchen in Hampton. We will stay here again next year, can't wait to go back! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Summary: The cabin is very well equipped and in a beautiful, quiet location. The beds were comfortable (including the one in the den), plenty of towels, ceiling fans throughout the house. Well-stocked kitchen including some basic canned goods and pantry items as well as plenty of pots/pans, etc. A "binder" like we've found in many other properties might have been helpful - tips on the light switches, the 2 network names, local restaurants or points of interest, list of things you'd like us to do before leaving, etc. but the notes throughout the cabin and the city brochure on the counter helped. We were very comfortable and had a great stay. The fireplace is enticing - we may have to come back in the winter!

Summary: If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the spot. The cabin is comfortable, very clean and well maintained. You’ll find everything you need for your stay. The sunroom is ideal for having your morning coffee or reading a book. The outdoor space is wonderful, with a beautiful backyard sloping down to the lake. There is a hiking trail around the lake with scenic views and access to view the spillway. Though the lake is part of a state park, it doesn’t provide an opportunity for swimming. The beach has been taken over by geese and the water quality is poor. Hampton is a friendly, small town with interesting historical sites. We enjoyed our visit and were happy our dog was welcome as well.

Summary: We had a lovely time at Charles’ cabin. It was quiet and the weather was just beautiful. Just what we needed! The walk around the lake was awesome. What a treat to find the waterfall! The only thing we would have liked was more variety of glassware and mugs. And maybe a bigger coffeemaker.

Summary: Such a beautiful, relaxing spot on the lake! We really enjoyed the kayaks and being able to walk around the entire lake. The cabin itself is nice with the fireplace & sunroom but it does have a strong musty smell & there were so many flies but it's that time of the season. So quiet and peaceful .. just gorgeous! Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Summary: Had an amazing time! Cabin was spotless and very spacious for our family of 3. Beds were comfortable as well as all the furniture. Loved the sun porch! Bringing our dog was a great perk. Summary: Spent some time kayaking on the lake. Relaxed on the 3 season porch watching the birds in the backyard. The hiking path around the lake was a lot of fun. The spillway was cool to see. My friend and I would both go back!!
