Brand new to VRBO! We have been renting out for the Naval Academy Commissioning (Graduation) Week and now the house will be available throughout the year! This is a great beach house with a stunning 66 ft heated salt water swimming pool set in beautifully landscaped surroundings. The house is one block from the Bay and five miles from downtown historic Annapolis. Bay Ridge is a beautiful neighborhood with private beaches and is great for cycling, walking, SUP, running and just having a relaxing time. There are beautiful views across the Bay, of Annapolis, and the Thomas Point Lighthouse.

Annapolis is conveniently located 45 minutes from both Baltimore and Washington DC, so you can enjoy the Oriels, Nationals, Ravens, Redskins and the historic sights of The Mall.

The house has hardwood floors, stainless appliances, a screened in front porch and a beautiful travertine patio surrounding the pool. There is a brand new covered deck, 2 beach cruiser bicycles, one mountain bike, and a stand up paddle board. Parking for up to ten cars. Great for entertaining!

Students and groups under 25 must have parent on premises.

Summary: Nice location and beautiful setting, however could use many updates to the home. Upon arrival the master bedroom electricity was powered off. Bob the owner had share the location for a key to enter basement to get to breaker. Another issue was the pool lighting and filter were not working correctly, owners did help us figure this out the filter in a reasonable time however the pool light in deep end never did come on. We felt that was important as you need a light in the deep end for night swimming. Kitchen floor, kitchen counters were sticky and there was old food containers from carry out lunged behind kitchen trashcan that was very unpleasant to pick up after. We were not able to access refrigerator in garage as it had some very old and smelly items (not very safe to put food in) clearly someone lives at this home when this is not rented. Bedrooms good sized however master bathroom was full of ants as well as a few spiders. Very outdated décor as well. We did enjoy the pool but beware ducks landed in the pool and well they used it as their private bathrooms so the pool definitely needs to be cleaned. We also did enjoy the patio. On an ending note we cleaned the home at check out and it was left in better shape then upon arrival. The best part of this stay was the location of the home. With a good scrub and many updates this could be a great stay.

Summary: What a wonderful spot along the Chesapeake Bay. This beautiful home is nestled in a quiet, lovely neighborhood by the water. Great for walkers, runners, bicycle riders. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, very enjoyable for three generations of our family. Hands down the pool was the highlight- we didn’t want to leave!

Summary: We loved this location. The house has a wonderful layout for a group. The backyard is perfect for yard games, and the pool just makes it. There is also a nice patio area under cover. The only reason I’m giving the house a 4 is due to the poor lighting in all the rooms, and it needs some decluttering. But anyone who rents will enjoy it!
