2 Bedroom Condo in Mahone Bay

This is our retirement home. We rent to a few select customers every year for one to four weeks, usually in the summertime when Mahone Bay is very popular.
The view of Mahone Bay doesn't get any better than this! Windows the length of the great room that open onto a balcony of this large (1,800 sq. ft.) second floor 2 bedroom condo. It is tastefully decorated with many art pieces and amenities and is located on the main street of town within walking distance of a grocery store, bank, pharmacy, shops and many restaurants. The corner unit condo features a cathedral ceiling, deck, elevator to unit, a large indoor garage with exercise equipment and a spa in the building.
Mahone Bay is 5 miles from historic Lunenburg and a one hour drive to Halifax.

Summary: Great view! The apartment was spacious, restaurants were as close as next door (we actually hooked into the apartment's wi-fi from our table at the restaurant!) Owner and other tenants were very friendly, good communication with the owner. We'd stay there again.

Summary: We recently spent 8 days in the Langley’s Mahone Bay condo. We were so pleased to find that the photo’s of the condo did not do it justice. It is much larger that it appears. The condo was extremely clean and very well presented. The two bedrooms both had excellent mattresses and the towels and linens were very good. We found the kitchen fully equipped and we were offered to use any of the staples and spices in the pantry. The location of the condo could not be more perfect. Walking distance to grocery store, many excellent restaurants, gift shops and more. The condo includes a very large indoor parking garage with access from the basement up to the condo. An elevator from the first floor to the second floor was handy for luggage and groceries. The absolute highlight of this condo for our stay was sitting outside on the large deck watching the calm activity on the Bay as well as the activity in town. Doug was extremely helpful and responded quickly to all questions. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a lovely bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already decided that we will return next year. We would not hesitate to recommend this sophisticated condo!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Doug and Shirray’s place in Mahone Bay. It’s a very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit in a small, quiet condo building right on the Bay. It had everything we could possibly need – full kitchen, large garage, plenty of TV stations for a rainy day, etc. The views of the water from the great room were lovely, and we spent a significant amount of time sitting on their deck sunning, reading, and having a drink. We loved their location on the main street in Mahone Bay. We were a 0-5 minute walk to restaurants, groceries, a bike shop, etc. It’s all right there. It’s a bustling little community during the day, and nice and quiet in the evening when it’s time to retire. We took daily road trips to Peggy’s Cove (1 hour away), Lunenburg (15 mins), and many beaches (Hirtles, Rissers, Carters) all within an hour’s drive. We took a sunset sail out of Lunenburg, and a 4 hour Pleasant Paddling sea kayaking trip to see the seals from Blue Rocks – we recommend both. Communication from Doug and Shirray was excellent. We got a detailed note of everything we'd need to know a week or so before arrival. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and left us an assortment of travel pamphlets outlining local attractions. Overall a wonderful stay!
