Positive: Beautiful and comfortable room, excellent breakfast, the whole hotel is very special and decorated with excellent taste. We travelled with our small dog who was welcomed perfectly as well with a prepared bed in the room. The service was impeccable and very friendly. It was a pleasure to stay in Le Chambard, and I’m sure we will return !

Positive: Great location in the middle of the village. Walking distance to everywhere. The hotel itself was great. The Michelin-starred restaurant was very good, but the prices were much higher than essentially any comparable Michelin-starred restaurant I've been to (and that's a few...). Also, the only breakfast option was a 45 euro / person buffet, while their bakery is close almost half the week...

Negative: The AC in our room was so noisy we couldn't sleep and they could not fix it because it was the weekend. They did move us to another room the next day.

Summary: Great hotel, worthy of the Relais and Chateaux affiliation.

Positive: It is centric, great location to walk to all the main places in the village. Cosy atmosphere inside, with drinks and treats available for guests. Cute little details for customers, like crémant d’Alsace on arrival for us and bread and water on our way out and thought it was cute and thoughtful.

Negative: Two things that contrasted with some of the very nice details. One, mixed attention from the staff, some were amazing and hospitable while others were truly rude. For the price I paid, it felt outdated and not in line with the luxury. For example, in my suite there was a jacuzzi and a shower with massage- both of them didn’t work in their premium services and the shower was supposed to be rain but most of the holes were blocked so little water was coming from there. Hot water was not available around 10 am which was a surprise to me. I paid for an extra bed for my 4yo, but the quality of it was not good (the previous stay and post stay i also had extra beds and their quality was far superior)
