Summary: We were upgraded to a suite which was great. We were the only guests at the resort and got extra attention. The accommodations and breakfast were next level - we would definitely stay again. Luca was a pleasure to speak with and very knowledgeable.

Summary: Fantastic room: spacious, updated bathroom with great shower, balcony with view over olive trees toward ocean. Very comfortable, seemingly newly remodeled, pleasant, and quiet. The staff was awesome and accommodating. Walkable (uphill) to town for dinner, and short drive to Bolgheri.

Summary: This is an exceptional property. The grounds and rooms are top notch. Clean and modern. The location is perfect. Close to the village and with a superb view. Breakfast was cooked to your own preferences. Fresh cakes were also served. The owner, Luca, helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations. Also, during our stay we had a mechanical issue with our rental car. Luca helped us in finding a garage for the repair. All in all I highly recommend this property.

Summary: One of the best Hotel experiences ever. What a place! A well-thought-out breakfast, a bathroom that oozes luxury without being over the top, and best of all, the beds—propper beds. Then, add location and view. Stay here!

Summary: The owner of this property is a horrible man. I stayed at the property for a wedding. Upon checkout I was told I had to pay additional fees. No problem, it was just 70 euro, but the front desk was unable to give me a bill with the reason for the charges. This was at 8am. I explained that I had an airport transfer was 8:30am and we had to pick up other people. My driver arrives and at that time the woman at the front desk approaches me with a cell phone so that I can speak to the owner. He then begins to explain the reason for the charges. Some of which were not accurate and none of them ever explained in advanced nor expected. I asked again if I could see an itemized bill. A normal request - right? The man proceeds to scream at me on the phone and says you know what forget about the bill. In fact I am going to tell the couple about you...at that time (with the 70 euro cash in my hand) I passed the phone back to the woman. Long story short he spent the day sending me outrageous emails. Putting in writing he's never yelled at anyone in his life. There was an issue with another wedding guest staying at the property (no surprise) who missed their flight for the same reason and some how I was looped into that mellow drama. This was by far the most horrific service experience I have ever had in my life and this is coming from someone who is well traveled. There is so much more that I can say but I'll end here. The owner is a vile human being. Stay here at your own risk!
