Summary: A very strange hotel. On paper looks fantastic but was actually very tired and seemed quite empty. It is an ambitious hotel development gone wrong. One or two wings were closed almost falling down. The pool was closed. I don’t recommend the breakfast. Everything was shut by 10pm.

Summary: Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them.

Summary: Room is wonderful. Maybe the best mattress is all of France! Great dinner in the Brasserie. The hotel is very tired and needs an update, but the room and restaurant are really great.
