Positive: This is a very charming rustic property, surrounded by trees. It’s quiet and relaxing. The host was very kind and welcoming. There are ponies, chickens and a friendly dog. You get what you pay for: A clean and comfortable bedroom with efficient ceiling fans so it’s not too hot. A shared, no-frills bathroom. I thought it meant shared between our bedroom and our kids’, in fact it meant shared with other guests. But that was my misunderstanding and not the fault of the host. Breakfast is provided but it’s very very basic - Swedish bread, frozen sliced bread, some jam, tea and coffee. You might like to bring additional things if you like specific or more fancy breakfast items (eg fruit, yogurt, fresh bread, juice). Pls note that you need to pay for towels. The host does mention in the welcome message but good to remember in case you wish you bring your own.
Negative: There are broken tiles around the swimming pool and the wooden walkway to the pool is also broken. I found that quite dangerous particularly for children who could hurt their feet. It would be a good idea to fix those elements.
Summary: Cute rustic stay, quite basic but reflects the price.
