Positive: The location in the old village near the harbour. The historic house. The spacious nicely furnished living room. The wonderful personality of the host: Kirsty.
Negative: The steep stairs + provisional hazardous rail replacement on the top. The host assured us that it is a temporary solution and that she shall seek a more secure railing.

Negative: - low ceilings - floor that isn't level - shared bathroom - steep and difficult stairs - old and authentic furniture which looked nice but was not very comfortable to sit on.

Positive: Such a lovely place and house. The location was excelent, in the old part of the town. Everything was very clean. Communication via Booking.com. We got a code for the door, and parking was right outside the house. Very easy.
Negative: We loved everything regarding the accommodation. Keep in mind that shops in the area had limited opening hours/days, and café’s too.
Summary: We loved our stay and would love to come back

Positive: Staying here felt like staying in a museum...in a good way, I should stress! The house perfectly encapsulates the Norwegian style from the late 1800s, lots of white washed wood, bookcases, and colourful rugs on the floor. Absolutely gorgeous. Being able to use the kitchen to make hot drinks and find plates etc was a real advantage.
Negative: The bathroom could do with an update, but it was perfectly usable and very clean. We couldn't work out if we were sharing the space, so we were very careful not to wander to the bathroom (which was just outside the bedroom) in a state of undress!
Summary: A wonderful stay in a beautiful house in a stunning location.
