Positive: Beautiful location but more importantly the staff was exactly what southern hospitality looks like. Kim was fabulous!! We dont normally eat breakfast but we did here...and you didnt have to get up early to have it....so you could sleep in. Also need a ride to the beach...just ask...and they will take you there in the golf cart and drop you off. It doesnt get much easier! Happy hour was great and sometimes we had it as our nightcap.

Negative: No way to get bags to the upper levels. A lift for at least for the bags would be helpful.

Positive: We were a little nervous about the Inn being near the boat marina, but it was very quiet. Being on the sound side of the island was so peaceful, and the sunsets were breathtaking. We were able to see so much wildlife including birds, crabs, and dolphins right from our screened in balcony. The best part was the peace and quiet.

Summary: So relaxing and overall comfortable!

Positive: This location is a gem. Away from main strip which is quite loud and busy. The hostess during our stay was supreme. Her hospitality was above and beyond. The happy hour and breakfast service was lovely. Comfortable bed. Screened in porch. Our river view provided a lovely sunset. Bikes and towels provided. There is even a gold cart they will use to drop you off and pick up around Folly Beach.

Negative: Only complaint is that the portable AC unit in the room provided temperature control, but is very noticeable when it turns off and on which interrupted sleep throughout the night.

Positive: The facilities were top rate, luxurious for the most part. The view and location away from the most busy part of the island was great. The staff was the best, very friendly and super helpful, driving us places in the golf cart as needed.

Negative: Only drawback was being a mile plus out of center of town where all the restaurants are so getting to a place to eat lunch or dinner was a bit of challenge and if we had a car as most did, the traffic could be tough and parking in town even worse. But you could walk if you were up for it and be driven by golf cart other than the evening.

Summary: Fabulous getaway in Folly Beach - highly recommended!
