Newly on the market in 2018 with fabulous views Casa Liebre is an ideal retreat for couples or families. All main rooms are air-conditioned and has a private pool and private sunbathing spaces. A romantic and relaxing villa perfect as a base for exploring the white "pueblo" villages of the Sierra de las Nieves which is being designated as a National Park. It is less than an hour to Malaga, Marbella, Ronda or the beaches of the Costa del Sol. Shade is easily found on the 33 sq mtr terrace or in the pine forest at the back of the property if you want to escape. If you don't fancy cooking in the fully furnished kitchen there are excellent restaurants and ventas in the villages only 5 kms in either direction or only a 20 minute drive to Coin with large supermarkets, a shopping mall, a wide range of restaurants and a cinema. The area is perfect for bird watching, hiking, horse riding, quadbiking, mountain biking or simply scenic drives.

Summary: We had a great time in this very nice house with all the comfort possible, it has breathtaking views. It is a little remote but if you like to be tranquil that is perfect, the village down the hill is gorgeous and you can find all you need there. We loved it.

Summary: Gated Parking, good internet connection, well equipped home, very private and with a beautiful sight of the Alozaina village. The views and the tranquility were well enjoyed. The side patio had plenty of wood for the fireplace and coal for the barbecue. In the kitchen was well equipped. Always great having a washing machine! We enjoyed a lovely pool and lounge chairs that sat on the edge of the property overlooking a picturesque valley. Small supermarket located few km away. Excellent restaurant in Jorox, only a few miles away. The location was central to the areas we wanted to visit. Thanks to our Host Steve and Jacque for sharing their wonderful property. The coordinates given at the cottage are incorrect. Fortunately, we received driving directions from our Host Steve.

Summary: I cannot recommend the property highly enough. It’s a very comfortable and really well equipped villa with all the comforts one would need on holiday. And, if that weren’t enough, it boasts the most superb of views! The panoramic views of the Iberian mountains and of the valley with the white village of Alozaina below is just astonishingly breathtaking. Especially at dusk, the scene turns magical with lights glittering from as far as the eyes can see. The pool was immaculate, and was a great hit with my 11 year old and it was hard to drag her away to see the rest of Andalucian sights. For those interested in Andalucian sightseeing. It’s a great base for visiting the white villages of Ronda, Setenil de la bodegas and Olvera among others. And, you can easily do day trips to Marbella and Malaga. Steve and Jacque were great with communications, making sure we had all the information we needed and were super helpful at all times. We had a splendid holiday, thank you!

Summary: Had a lovely time at Steve and Jacque's villa. The views are spectacular and it is in a quiet and pleasant location. The local town of Alozaina is only 5 minutes drive which provides access to a supermarket, cafes, and places to eat. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The kids lived in the pool for most of our stay although there are good day trips to be had to places like Ronda and Embalse Conde de Guadalhorce depending on what you want to do. Top tip for your stay is to pack some long sleeve tops and trousers suitable for the evening weather and some insect repellant as the local mosquitoes get a bit hungry in the evening.

Summary: Lovely villa in a beautiful location. Clean tidy and seems authentic / rustic but new. Alozaina is very Spanish, few tourists and authentic. The villa is very well equipped and has a good layout inside and out. Plenty of outdoor space to relax and for outdoor eating on the patio by the pool or the covered terrace along the side of the villa. Plenty of sun beds and outside chairs. It was 30 to 36 degrees during our stay but we only needed the air con for short periods as the Villa didn’t get too hot. Well equipped kitchen and two fridges, one in the kitchen and a fridge freezer in the utility room. Lovely places to eat a short drive away, the road up to the villa has been recently resurfaced and is good but quite steep, a small cat fully loaded may struggle, we had a Citroen C3 with 4 adults and it was absolutely fine but 2st gear needed.

Summary: A great stay at Steve's house! We loved the pool with its fantastic views, the house was very comfortable and perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed! The location of the house suited us well, it was perfect for running in the mountains (before it got too hot!) and we enjoyed a variety of day trips to Malaga, Ronda, Gibraltar, etc. A car is definitely needed if you are staying here as there are no shops and restaurants within reasonable walking distance. We would happily recommend this house! Thank you to Steve for everything whilst we were there.

Summary: We had a lovely fortnight in this very well equipped, beautiful villa, with its stunning views. There were five of us and the villa was big enough for us all to find our own space, be it by the lovely pool, in the comfy chairs in the shade, or chilling in the lounge. It was well equipped, which meant that we could self cater very easily. We loved the sky at night, the late night dips and that the shade on the back terrace gave you somewhere to sit outside without being in the sun (plenty of places to catch the sun as well!). The night lighting outside the villa and by the pool was pretty and added a certain something to our relaxing evenings. We also loved the mosquito net that covered the outside table which meant that we ate outside every evening without interference. The beds were comfortable and there were some nice personal touches in the villa. The supermarkets at Coin (circa 20 - 25 minutes drive away) gave us enough choice for the food and drink shopping and we enjoyed a fun little drink in a local bar in Alozaina. We took trips to Mijas, Ronda, Malaga and Marbella all of which were no more than an hour away by car. We wanted somewhere that was peaceful and not surrounded by people and this certainly met those needs. This is not intended to put people off but we only hired a small car and with five of us and luggage inside, it struggled with the climb to the villa (just the last half mile of the journey) and in hindsight we would have hired a car with a bit more power. As I say this is not intended to put people off, more to give the reader the opportunity to plan their stay a little bit better than we did. We loved our stay, really loved it, have plenty of very fond memories and hope to go back again.
