Positive: Everything was lovely, exactly what I was looking for. Removed from Tomar but just a short drive into town for all of the essentials. Quiet farm area was peaceful and relaxing. My dog and I really enjoyed the entire space. His favorite was the terrace, and I loved the kitchen. The house had everything you'd need for the perfect getaway.

Negative: I loved everything. I will say, my dog is very friendly and good with other dogs. He's comfortable and aware of guard dogs and knows not to get in their way. There are a lot of dogs in the area around the house. We personally loved greeting them all from afar each morning, but if you're dog needs more space, I could see that being a bit tricky. Again, I loved everything about the place, but might be helpful for other travelers with pets.

Summary: Stunning location, great hosts and hope to stay with my dog again soon.

Positive: Location was perfect. This place is amazing, the attention to detaill is fabulous. Very spacious for 4 people.

Negative: Only negative thing are the dogs barking early in the morning.

Positive: It's not called a refuge for nothing. A wonderful experience of being in a rural area, Luis is an excellent host - welcoming and friendly. Would have liked to stay longer to get to know him better. The house is open concept, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Very comfortable. Nice beds, a great space to feel at home.

Positive: The whole setting. They owner was waiting for our arrival and was very friendly. It was very welcoming. They offered the garden and and willing to help while giving you tour privacy

Negative: I'm quite tall and had to be careful going up the stairs and duck lol. A little bit more light in the bathroom would be great.
