Positive: The spa lounge was lovely, modern decor nice ambience. The rooms were nice. The gym was well equipped and my husband enjoyed his massage

Negative: The steam room was broken and seems to have been that way for a while. The restaurant needs updating, feels like you are in a pub not a nice spa hotel

Positive: The grounds, table-tennis, swimming pool. Large room and a bath. Good food. Helpful friendly staff. Provision of bottled water in the room

Negative: Bed was soft and we prefer a sheet to a duvet. Instructions would be useful for operating the water in the bath. The plug could be removed without a screwdriver. Poor maintenance. No handles on a drawer. Faulty radiator thermostat; we had to suffer permanent heat. Empty soap dispenser above the sink when we arrived. Despite reporting these problems nothing was fixed apart from the soap.

Negative: We had no cold water on the morning of leaving so couldn’t have a shower as water was far to hot. Told reception was told the hotel had no water but we had hot but not cold
