Summary: Enjoyed the historic atmosphere of the place. Has a great view of Lake Superior. While it could use a new paint job the whole Inn has character.

Summary: This is an "old style" resort that must have been rather grand back in the day, complete with ballroom. So the rooms, while clean and quiet, haven't been updated in quite some time. Our room had a continuous leak in the bathroom sink. There was nothing about our stay that was off-putting. It was quaint, and old style.

Summary: Pillows had a strong chemical smell. Air conditioning did not work and the vent at the top was very dirty. Outside of building very run down. Bathroom newly renovated and was clean.

Summary: I was different for sure. Has lots of potential but a long ways from being great. Reading the history of the building it was built back in 1930's as a boarding house for workers in a local mine. The architecture and character of the building is great but really shows that it has been neglected by the owners for a number of years. The property sits not far from the banks of Nipigon Bay on Lake Superior, Great park and Marine just out the front door. We were told that itis going to be renovated (soon). We would love to make another stay at the Red Rock Inn on our trips across Canada again. I will keep checking to see if any updates have been made before booking again.

Summary: The website promised Wifi but it inly worked in the entrance not in our room. The shower had some standing water on its floor so we did not use it. The chairs in the restaurant were so old they had a permanent depression in the seat. The area was beautiful and quiet. The manager was very pleasant and helpful

Summary: It was not as I expected….we made the best of it and we did have a good time. It is an old building without fridges, microwaves and televisions but had lots of fans,, games room and stuff for us to do. Bed was not comfortable and bathroom was not like most people are used to but everything was clean and functional. It’s a unique place.
