Positive: You could only get one apartment closer to the ski lift and run than this, the one next door. This is prime ski in ski out! Had everything we needed in the apartment, showers were great, 2 baths, comfortable beds and nice and warm with heaters in every room and a wood fire. We would definitely stay again.

Positive: The view and location were amazing. No need to signing in, code was messaged, so straight in. Easy access to the slopes and taking a break from skiing. Centrally located for ski hire, eating out and going to the pub. Car parking an absolute bonus. Great for unloading and loading. Drove down to Jack Frost for dinner one night. We locked ourselves out one day and someone came within a few minutes to open up which was great service.

Negative: It's not what I didn't like, it more to do with things that can be improved and fixed. We ran out of wood, I texted to get more, but it wasn't filled until the last night (I think). No one messaged me an update. Would have been better to be stocked up before we arrived. The kitchen sink leaks onto the floor from underneath. We left a tea towel there to stop getting wet feet. TV didn't get many channels and half had no sound. In other places we have stayed there have been TV's in bedrooms. It would be good if the chairs around the dinning table could all be pushed in (table doesn't allow this). Limited room to get past, we stubbed our toes regularly on the stair rail stay bars. Generally clean, but there was rubbish between couches. It is an ageing build which does need some money spent.

Summary: Have stayed at other places with better facilities but location and view wins.

Positive: The fully-equipped kitchen, with an espresso machine, was wonderful! We hosted new and old friends on our last night and caught the fireworks display arranged by the Mt Hotham ski staff. None of us knew of the event but the proximity of the chalet to the slopes and its super-tall windows allowed us to enjoy the event fully. We barely needed the heaters at night because the bed and blankets were so comfy.

Negative: Please upgrade the wifi for all the chalets though, it was very difficult to get any work done while we weren't breaking legs on the slopes. It gets really really warm during the day due to the wonderfully tall windows, but it was easily resolved by leaving a couple of kitchen windows open during the day.

Summary: 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Positive: Incredible location. Very warm. Loved that wood and kindling was provided for the fire.

Negative: Not enough soap in bathrooms and had to buy detergent + hand soap for kitchen. Downstairs toilet light didn’t work.
