Positive: From the moment we arrived in the carpark, the staff were brilliant..we asked for a room change (the room was great, but would rather have a shower than a bath)...no problem at all, we were moved "with a smile"......we're "pesky" vegans...again no problem, they've just created a vegan menu and printed out a menu especially for us....in all honesty, we could go on and on...it was brilliant!

Positive: This is the third time we’ve stayed at the excellent Red Lion - it’s a real find in North Devon. It’s in a great location, with sea views from the very comfortable rooms. Plus it has an excellent restaurant. The staff are all very helpful.

Negative: It is not a cheap place to stay, so is a real treat, but worth it for the quality.

Summary: Fabulous & comfortable hotel, with a great restaurant.
