This home features all the modern conveniences of home with rustic mountain charm. This smart home provides keyless entry with codes changed after each guest for added safety. Summary: This was an enjoyable trip. We often go to Western North Carolina. We just love this area and the Tuckasegee River is beautiful. The cabin is very comfortable and close to Sylva for amenities. But you can be out fishing in no time.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this home on the river. The house was comfortable for our family of four. We were able to cook dinner with a well set up kitchen. Coffee on the porch each morning was great. The road noise was expected and didn't bother us too much. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub were a nice addition. The owner was very responsive and understanding.

Summary: The absolute perfect place to stay in the mountains! The view and sounds of the creek were worth the stay alone! We had a blast enjoying the hot tub, grill, and board games almost every day. Everything was very clean and organized. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and we definitely will be back! The only thing that didn’t really effect us, but could effect others is the driveway. There is no way we would’ve made it up it without 4wd.

Summary: Husband and I enjoyed a chilly non white Christmas on The Tuck. It is literally right beside the house and the house is literally right beside the road.Family came for Christmas Day and then other family came a couple of nights later for a grilling of steaks dinner. The fireplace keeps you warm and presences itself a beautiful glow as I read my Richard Paul Evan’s books wrapped in a wool blanket. My husband was happy with the span of water he was able to fish. Note: you’re not alone of this stretch of The Tuck.The house is new and very comfortable for a week’s stay. We made it a priority to have reservations at Ilda one night, beautiful food by the way. First Baptist of Sylva had a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service that was a blessing to all that attended.Great location for some shopping, visited Waynesville, hint, don’t forget to check out The Kitchen Shop. We hit all the Fly Shoppes as well.Happy New Year

Summary: I like to stay here when visiting my son at WCU. It is very close to the school and everything you need. Love having a fire overlooking the river. The only downside can be you will have traffic noise. However, I have found a lot of the homes in the area along the river have this. The owner has sound machines in the room to help with this too! Perfect touch! Will be back again.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving! If you are wanting to trout fish, this is the place! Walk right across road and fish all day. My guys even caught a couple 20” brown trout. Home was wonderful, clean and met all our needs. Would definitely stay again and/or recommend this property.

Summary: We enjoyed our long weekend in this house very much as it was a good combination of convenient location to town and area activities, etc. but also in a very scenic location with a lovely view of the river. We enjoyed all the amenities that come with the house. I did see in the listing where it discussed potential of road noise and the house is indeed on a busy road, but we adjusted to it quickly and it wasn’t an issue. The extremely convenient location was worth it. We appreciated the opportunity to stay.
