Positive: We loved the location of the house. The interior walls are made of granite which makes the house fresh without the need of air conditioned. Also the house is quite spacious. The hosts had a basket with honey, cheese, and coffee waiting for us. The kitchen is well equipped with all it is needed for a conformable stay. The location allows easy access to all hiking trails of Serra da Estrela. One of the best hiking trails starts very near the house and also gives access to a very nice river beach. If you are traveling with pets, the house is also the perfect spot.

Negative: There is not anything we did not like. Please note that there are two cafes in the village but we could not find a restaurant in it. Nevertheless, the city of Seia is very near the village where you can find plenty of restaurant options.
