Summary: Do not stay here unless you are traveling with children and want a family-focused, all-inclusive feeling resort. The atmosphere is loud and impersonal, with children in all pools. The rooms are large and clean with comfortable beds, but several basics do not work. The air conditioning was extremely loud and continued making noise even when turned off. There was no hand soap, no bedside power outlets, and the blinds cannot fully block morning light. The resort is much larger than it appears in photos, with long distances often requiring shuttles. It feels worn down, as if it was five-star decades ago but is now poorly maintained. Leaf blowers are used from 7 a.m., destroying any sense of calm. Breakfast is mediocre and overcrowded. Food and services are outrageously overpriced — 800 baht for a pad thai and 3,300 baht for an airport transfer, despite much cheaper options outside. Activities are misleadingly marketed. Bicycles are restricted to the resort area, and kayaks are limited to 30 minutes. WiFi did not work for two days and staff initially dismissed the issue. No compensation was offered. The beach, views, sun loungers, and beds are good. Overall, this is not a relaxing or true five-star experience.

Summary: The breakfast was amazing - so much variety and the staff were so friendly - they couldn’t have done more to welcome us or make us comfortable. The property is immaculately kept. We had the best time!

Summary: The room was large, with beautiful decor as well as a sea view, and also a big bathroom. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. It was truly a dream stay.

Summary: Room: Nicely furnished and comfortable. However, in rooms with twin beds the AC couldn’t adjust wind direction, meaning the person furthest away got the full airflow straight on the bed. I woke up every morning with neck pain and severe headaches that made my days quite bad. The AC had to stay on to make the room bearable at night. Gym: Very outdated. The bench press was below standard and the squat rack unsafe with no margin for error. Coming from Sweden where even budget gyms have proper powerlifting gear, this was disappointing and made me skip training entirely. Bar: Closed far too early. One night we came back at 21:30 and everything was already shut. We had to walk out in the rain to find a local bar instead just to have a beer outside our rooms. General: The hotel felt heavily child-focused, leaving nothing for adults without kids. After 21:00, there was simply nothing to do — no open bar, no restaurant options. Only once the bar was open til 23.00. We also got caught in a flash flood one evening before our flight the next morning. When asking to dry our soaked clothes and shoes, there was no dryer available — only a suggestion to use a hair dryer on the floor for hours. Not acceptable for a 5-star hotel in monsoon conditions. Also found a lizard in our room that we had to throw out. Besides this the staff was very polite and the hotel of a high standard. But I dont think I would go back again if these things above would not get fixed.
